Auto Reg. & Login Cable TV Portal

Project Overview: We have a cable television industry website portal that provides many links to other cable TV websites. These other cable TV websites are known as “affiliate web sites??. Many of these “affiliate websites?? require users to register and then login each time to access the "affiliate websites". We want to provide a "Single Sign On" registration process that will enable a visitor to register as a user on our portal and then use that same registration information to automatically register them on the other "affiliate websites". When that registered user returns to our portal they would automatically be logged in to our portal. The user would also be automatically logged in to any "affiliate website" when they click the "affiliate website" link/URL. The process would appear seamless/automatic to the user. Users of our web site only need to register on our portal if they want to be automatically registered with the “affiliate websites?? listed on our portal. If they choose not to register they can still visit our portal and use all the features and functionality. However, they will not be automatically ‘logged in?? to those affiliate web sites when they click the URL’s listed on our portal. Some of the elements for this project have been completed. Page Email Confirmation of Registration User Login User Account Modification Process Admin Login Admin Modification Process These elements above have been created in PHP. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Server/Software: We use a shared UNIX server hosted by aplus.net. The following software is installed on the server: MySQL database Web-based administration tool for MySQL database PHP 4 with GD support Perl, C, C++, Java JDK, Python & TCL Server side includes (SSI) Internet Explorer Browser primarily and possibly other browsers Our website was created, updated and maintained with Dreamweaver.
