The MSN Gaming Zone is closing it's support for CD-Rom games. I require a programmer to create a "launcher" for the game Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors (herein referred to as AoC). The launcher will operate in the following way: A very very basic "lobby" will list all the current games of AoC with some basic information about that game; title of game and current # of players. People can create new games in the lobby and type in their own title for that game. The person who is the host of the game can choose when to launch the game, this will start AoC for the players in the game (up to 8) and connect them to the IP game in AoC's multiplayer interface, it will also remove the game from the list of current open games in the lobby. A very basic registration/login system will be required to help identify people. I am looking to pay approximately $200 for this project but I am open to negotiation.

This program can be written in Java, C#, C, VB.NET or any language you see fit as long as it works in Windows XP and all 3.0+ versions of IE. It should interface with a MySQL database backend for storing games and registrations.
