I need someone to mod an ASP Message board to be intergrated within my website ([[url removed, login to view]][1]) . The work involves two issues. The first is an aesthetic migration into my website (color scheme and designed to fit under the standard heading). The second is that the Message board uses my global variable as the credentials for the board. My hoster is ASP and so is the site. PHP is not an option.

Snitz forums and Toast Forums are two packages that could be moded to my specifications. Snitz is free, Toast would cost me

me so it's not prefered. Im sure there are other packages out there

1. Gets user credentials for forum from a Global Variable that I use in the main sites login. Ex. (A varible named "CurrentUser" with a value of "BruceLee")

2. Intergrates aesthectically into rest of the site design (colors and fits under main menu).

3. Linear Based threading.

4. Search Function.

5. Ability to create Sticky post.

6. Ability to have forum descriptions on main forum page.

7. Ability to have text signature blocks.

8. Abilty to use rich text.

9. Ability to have Multiple Forums.

10. Must use an MS Access DB or MSSQL. My host is Brinkster (so you can research what's their DB capabilities)

11. Commented Code for any custom code.

-Also-

1. Use your own ASP development space. (I'm not giving access to the actual site)

2. I will provide a sample HTML page so you can intergrate the look.

If you bid on this project I'd like to know the following things.

1. Your questions

2. Which of the 11 requirement you cannot provide.

3. Any Additional cost for buying a prepackaged program that you will modify.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

Microsoft Active Server Pages. MB should use Javascript or something that will work in all browsers. The site was designed to work in IE. It works in Firefox and all but there are some table (visual) anomalies when displayed at odd resolutions. As long as it looks good in IE and works a minimal in other browsers I'm happy.

My hoster is Brinkster. ([[url removed, login to view]][2]) Please check there limitations on the DB that can be used.
