Objectives:

To create a program with assembler or c language into a DSP chip. The programmed chip should be able to

1) accept a input signal from a function generator

2) sample the signal and compute 1024 samples value into the chip memory

3) from the sampled values, compute the RMS value

4) The 1024 values and the rms value should be displayed in the computer

5) a second program that can Generate a musical tune using the DSP chip and output to a speaker.

Hardware tools used:

1) DSP TMS320C31PQL50 (EE-92AE1VW)

2) Function generatot (Dagatron 8202)

3) Oscilloscope (PS1022L)

Software tools used:
