We have two websites which have model portfolios. We shoot a set with a model, say 300 images in one day. Images are originally 1288 x 960. We then separate the images in 5 different folders, because they are separate clothing and sceneries or separate “themes??. We end up with 5 different “galleries?? or 5 different “themes/sets??. Then we separate the images that came out sideways in each set because we took the picture that way with the camera. We place the images needed to be rotated in a different folder, say, left and right, so we remember which needs to be rotated which way. Then we use a batch processing program to rotate the images in bulk, resize them to 800 x 600 and add a watermarked logo. Then we use another program to create html or htm pages that creates thumbnailed images of each image available in that portfolio. A “gallery page?? if you will. When the thumbs are clicked on they show the original image. Once that is done, we upload the folder with all the html or htm pages, images, and thumbnails to our server. We then modify the models individual pages, by adding one thumbnail to represent that theme set, to let viewers know that she has a new set up. We add the number of images added and the theme name under the thumb. We also add a text link to our news section that allows viewers to know that a new portfolio is up, what model it is of, how many images it has, and the date of the news. In addition, the front page of the main page, has one thumbnailed image of each new and upcoming portfolio set. With the date it was or will be released, the amount of images, and the name of the model. We also add the same thumb to the models individual pages so the viewer can see that the Models portfolios have been updated if they choose to go directly to her page. She has a current sets page and archives page. Once the spaces on the models individual page and the main page space is filled, those sets go to the archives, where viewers can go to see past shoots of each model which are placed on the individual pages of each model. Lets say, we have 10 folders of images ready to go, all ordered and in named folders, separated, etc… We would like a program that automatically, (once we tell it what to do, where to get the images, how to process them, where to upload them to, how often we want it to upload, etc…) updates our websites every 3 to 5 days. The program would simply at “X?? time set, begin processing the images, ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
