I already have the buttons needed for this project and will provide a development environment for this project Create a Script Named [login to view URL] The first line under the title will state "Please enter the Lead IDs below". The second row shows two horizontally aligned labels called "Retained Lead ID" and "Duplicate Lead ID". under each is a fill in box where the User/Operator enters and edits the two lead ID numbers. Once the Lead ID are correctly filled in the User/Operator has the option of selecting one of two buttons labeled "Continue" and "Cancel". Selection of the "Continue" Button Validates that the 2 records in fact exist in tbl_Leads, then calls the second script with these Parameter's for disposition of duplicate leads. Selecting the "Cancel" button ends this script. Redirecting the user to /admin/[login to view URL] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Create a Script Named [login to view URL] This script is called from the "[login to view URL]" script when the "continue button is selected. The first script sends two parameters the first is a Lead_ID for the "Retained" information. The second parameter is the duplicate information Lead_ID. The script uses the Lead_ID information to display the Business Name for the Retained and Duplicate Lead_IDs. Create a split screen display with the left side labled "Retained Information"and the right side labled "Duplicate Information". The first left side cell under the "Retained Information" side will display the Retained/keeper Lead_ID and BusinessName and the second or right side will contain the duplicate Lead_ID and BusinessName. The screen is now split into three colums the central column contains a set of three buttons displayed for each line. The three buttons are aligned horizontal and the first shows a left pointing arrow representing the direction the duplicate information will move if clicked. the central button has a refresh symbol of two circling arrows representing a refresh/reset button. the right side button has an "X" representing delete. Each series of three buttons only operate on the associated line of information on the duplicate side. The background colors should always alternate for each row between a normal background color and a slightly darker version of the same color. This is to help the user/operator to visually align data across the page and not accidentally wander over into another row's data. The opening display should be white alternating every other row as a pale gray The first row of cells in the three way split screen is dynamic and contains a list of tables selected from the tbl_Table_List. Each table name is expanded by clicking the "+" or collapsed by clicking the "-" associated with the table. Upon the table expanding will display all fields and information in a verticle list based on the Lead_ID number by columns contained in the table. The same is true for the duplicate Lead_Id information which automatically expands on the right side for the same selected table information fields for the duplicate Lead_ID. None of the retained or duplicate lead information is editable by the User/operator. The user/operator can only select one of the three buttons associated with the Duplicate information field. Selecting the left pointing arrow button for this field copies it in green on the left Retained side and highlights it in yellow on the right duplicate side. Selecting the Right "X" button marks the duplicate field for Deletion and highlights it in red. Selecting the center button showing two circling arrows will reset any actions made by the left arrow and "X" button returning all information back to the original settings and colors. Important, these buttons affect the associated field only. The central reset button allows the user/operator to correct any mistakes for this line. Once the user/operator is satisfied that all selections have been made the "-" is clicked and the tbl collapses and another table is expanded until all tables have been processed. By observing the all red color of the duplicate field information the user/operator can determine if any information was missed. Under the triple split screen at the bottom of the display are two buttons "Continue" and "Cancel". Once the User/Operator is satisfied the "Continue" button is clicked. If the User/Operator has not processed any duplicate field data rows, the first row will be highlighted and a message across the bottom will say " All duplicate data must be processed. Please select disposition for this item.". The script will repeat this process for any other missed duplicate data fields. Upon execution the Retained tables are updated. The red Duplicate Information is deleted. The script performs all updates and deletes. Terminates and waits for the script to be called again with a new set of Retained and duplicate Lead_IDs. The second button marked "Cancel" returns all data to the original condition and does not perform any updates or deletes. The script terminates? or waits for the next record? or waits for the script to be called again with a new set of Retained and duplicate Lead_IDs. All colors used to highlight fields in this script contain no intense or bright colors. They should be of a pale/pastel shade selected to prevent eye fatique of the user/operator. Maintain alternating rows of a slightly darker shade.
