Data/Form Mapper

The project is to create a web based data extractor using Tessacrat OCR to read and parse text from an image. The interface will allow for a user to upload a file in pdf, jpg, or tiff format. Once the file is uploaded the contents will be displayed to user. User will have ability to drag a box around the text they want to extract. Once they've made their selection (up to 3), user will click a button which will take selected text run it through OCR, parse the contents and display the text in a textbox. Please see picture of user interface for specifics of how the gui is to look. Each of the selection boxes must be sizeable. ## Deliverables Preferred platform is LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) but will consider ASP.net as long as no commercial 3rd party controls are used.
