I need to add community based features (Forums, Groups, Profiles) to my custom built web app [url removed, login to view], which is still under construction. Rather than re-invent the wheel, it makes sense to use existing code and its seems the best .Net social networking modules run on DNN. I would like to integrate WorkoutBox with DNN, and have it utilise its Social Networking and forum modules, while still using its own custom code to manage its workout database. This will require reskining DNN modules so they integrate with WorkoutBox's design and writing custom code so both applications can talk to each other. You can get an idea of the scale of WorkoutBox through this ERD: [url removed, login to view] I’m looking for DNN Guru’s to advise on the best way for this to be done and take ownership of the project. I’m a programmer myself so am able to provide detailed technical requirements and wireframes / PSD designs to make the project run as efficiently as possible. Please see the attached word document for details on how I think the intergration between the custom app and DNN would work. Please feel to comment on the assumptions i have made in the document.
