We are doing a complete redesign for our website EasternShoreHousing.com. We have completed all the designs and are looking for a CSS/Javascript expert to complete the implementation of the front-end designs with our back-end development team. Even though the site consists of thousands of pages, the complete redesign will consist of completing about 10 main pages that flow through the entire site.
Site speed and browser compatibility (IE6.0 is a must) are a must. We do not want heavy weight Javascript APIs. We are looking for someone who can write custom scripts so as to minimize the code as much as possible and make the site run as fast as possible.
We would like optimized CSS, as in if needed, have different includes so that the page is as light as possible. So we're looking for a global CSS file which will include the necessary details for the header and footer and then custom CSS files for our other main pages.
For pages with Tabs, we need Events for the Tabs so that we can fire Events onClick of the Tabs. We should be able to access and set a Tab to be active by passing Query String Parameters which ??" can possibly in the backend ??" set [login to view URL]() or something similar.
## Deliverables
We are looking to be a technology leader in our field. We want our site to be fast and easier to use than existing players in the field, which include [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc. We are looking to bring elements of popular social networking sites (ie facebook) to our website, but it's important to understand that our user base is the 30+ demographic so everything needs to be extremely simple and easy to use.
And again, the site must be extremely fast, and it must work in IE6.0 and all other browsers specified above.
Attached is a .zip file with additional specifications and screen shots. The screen shots are for one of the main pages (the Builder Profile page), which has the following 4 tabs: (1) Overview, (2) Listings, (3) Media and (5) Contact. The other profile pages on the site follow the same format. This will complete 85% of the site re-design. The rest of the pages such as the home page, account management page, etc. will consist of the remaining 15% of the site redesign.
