I would like you to
- Create a routine to capture users information who are downloading the product and save their information in the database. I would like to have a table in the database to save user's information.
- Then I like to have a small interface to get the list of users who I have not sent email to them and to be able to select from them (using the check box) and then use an existing text or write a new text for a subject and
then click a push button to send email to them. With this I am automating what you have done in the last 2 weeks.
The user table should have a flag to identify which messages have been sent to the user like:
0- None
1- First follow up
2- Second follow-up
3- Follow up after purchase
4- Problem solving follow up
When I want to retrieve users, I would be able to search the users (based on each or all products) who have No follow up (Basically users who I have not sent any email except download email) or "first follow" up or other follow
up.
So this job has 2 section:
Retrieval information to get the list of users.
Send email to the users based on the follow up.
There could be some pre defined Subjects but also I like to be able to modify the subject, modify each customer first name last name, etc. (Some times the user doesn't write the first name or last name so I want to be
able to adjust edit it when I submit) Submit email will submit email to the group of customers but individually.
After submit the follow up flag of the user will get updated. For example if I am looking to get the users with no follow up. after sending email their follow up flag should be changed to 1 (First follow up).
For this project I like to use embedded SQL.
