Bottleneck Issue and Hosting Advice

Hi there!

I need some help optimizing the speed of my side. It's a Wordpress theme and the Dashboard can be painfully slow (as can the rest of the site). I've installed w3 cache and optimised most of my images (I can see image resizing is still a bit problem), but the pages of the site aren't my biggest concern, it's the back end. If I want to look through my products, add new templates or anything of that nature it takes too long and it's causing all sorts of delays in launching.

I've no doubt that a change in server will be helpful but I also think there might be an issue with the bottleneck which is what I need help with. Someone has suggested that the reason for the slow speed is likely due a long-running query happening that is perhaps grabbing all products or joining multiple database tables or something of that nature. I need someone to find the bottleneck and issue a fix as well as offer some advice on server recommendations.

If you could let me know how long this is likely to take and whether it would be better to change servers before work is started that would also be helpful.

Warm regards,

Elliott
