I need an app written that can be used for customers to place orders.
It should be simple and clear, and the UI should be very intuitive as many for many customers this will be their first ever app.
The app should allow customers to make orders simply by scanning barcodes, searching be descriptions etc.
Everything should be clearly displayed and be sortable by product desc/ code/ price/ category etc.
The product catalog is about 15000 products, there are over 10,000 customers, each customer belongs to a few pricing groups so the app needs to ensure the correct price group data is downloaded from the database, then the cheapest price of the groups that the customer belongs to is displayed.
the app should hold branch details, and have hot links to PDFs which change on a daily basic.
Orders and product data should be stored locally on the handset as some users do not have network access where they can scan barcodes in cellars, freezer rooms, etc The data should only be sent when the customer sends the order. upon which the user should be sent a confirmation html email, with order details in a simple table.
The should require activation where a customer is provided with a one time serial number and activation code, the serial number must be unique and random 8 alpha numeric characters.
Screen shots for layout will be provided.
I am looking for a team of people who can work well together and to tight deadlines. A good understanding of English is critical.
a minimum of 3 months support for bugs etc is required, 5% of fee will be retained for this.
