What is Seek: Seek is going to be an application for both Iphone and Android that will be “Simple, Fun, and EASY to use!”. The theme of Seek is to bring the enjoyment of a dating app and the excitement of a game all into one. What this means is that first, when the user first opens the app, they will be prompted to either create an account, or register using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Once they have created an account and they are logged in, they will be asked if they would like to promote their account on one of their social networks. If the user chooses to do this, their Seek username will be shared on the social media of their choosing. This is a way for them to gain “Potentials” (friends/followers). Another way for them to gain “Potentials” will be through “scanning” using the gps locator to scan for people within the radius of their choice from 1-100 miles and also selecting their age range. After doing all this and once the user have “Potentials” this is where the fun begins!

How it Works

They will register an account or login with their social media.

Step 1: After accumulating your “Potentials” you will than press THE “Seek” button. A button that will randomly select 3 of your “Potentials” and display it in a pool. This is the first step.

Step 2: After having shown to you three “Potentials” many things can happen from here. The first thing that can happen is the user may not like ANY of the “Potentials” showed to them and will have the option to “SEEK” a new pool of potentials. However, if the user does see a “Potential” that he or she likes, they would not have the option of selecting that specific potential, but rather they must select the pool of potentials as a whole. Once a user has selected a pool of potentials, the potentials will be notified that they have been accepted into a pool. Here comes the twist! Once they have been accepted into the pool and have received a notification, they can not see who they have been accepted by.

Step 3: Once the user have generated a pool of potentials and have chosen to accept the pool, they will be then brought to a chat message. Here is the TWIST! Although the user was able to see who the three potentials were initially, they can no longer see after they have chosen this pool. What this means is that once they have chosen to accept the pool, the potentials in the pool will be given a set of random variables “1-3” and displayed in a message-like screen. The user won’t know initially which one of their “crush” or person they were interested in so they would have no choice but to speak to all three of the potentials individually. The user will have a limit of 50 messages per potential. The user at this point will have to choose from one of the three potentials based not on their physical appearance, but on the conversations that they held within their message limit.

Step 4: Once the user has chosen a potential, the other two potentials that were not chosen will be notified that they have been eliminated from the game. Once this has been done and a potential has been selected, the potential that was chosen will than have the option to accept or deny. If the potential does choose to deny, the user will be notified of this. However, if they do choose to accept, and it is a match, they would both get access to the users private photos, and unlimited messaging.
