Active Directory upgrade - multiple sites!

We currently have two offices, one in Manchester with around 100 users and one in London with around 20 users. Both sites are connected by VPN and the London users currently work entirely over an RDP connection to a small farm of Terminal Servers in Manchester.
We are now planning to stop using terminal server and instead have the desktops in London working locally. As a result we will need to make some upgrades to our AD, including adding a DC to our London office.
I would be interested in hearing from somebody with expertise in this area to discuss this further.
