Basic automated interface with stock broker.

Automatically place the same Buy Sell order(s) with a stock broker everyday. If (Condition happens at time) then (Place Order at time). If condition is a threshold, it is in % not to have to be modified everyday. Possible Stock brokers: Interactive Broker and Fidelity Investments (optional). We start with IB. Fidelity could be a second job. Example: If (SMTC goes over 2% from opening price) then (Sell Short 50% of SMTC shares). IF(we are 10 minutes or less before closing) then (Buy Cover SMTC). I will write something more precise but it is the gist. Up to ten different orders. I should be able to modify myself the orders through Excel (optional). It should automatically process everyday: Open the account, Place the orders, Close the account, Send a status Email. This is the first Job. There will be more complex jobs down the road: Different Broker. Place and modify orders with Excel. More complex sequence. For the first job, it could be even simpler with no conditions. The key is to demonstrate the operation of automated orders. Metatrader is listed below because there is not the IB TWS Excel API. It is possible and easy to place the orders manually. The improvement here is automation.
