I am a freelance developer, helping out a growing software company who want to promote and sell B2B software in the UK (I was not involved in its development). I'm looking at building and leading a team who can sell, support and extend the software through new ideas. The support side is covered.,What we need is the selling part.
Neither they nor I have UK business contacts for [login to view URL] of software, so marketing will be a part of this also. The software itself is focused on providing medium-sized to large businesses with tools to provide more efficient and paper-free common HR and business operations. They are also open to new ideas for software, and definitely have the capabiilities to produce it for any platform.
My assumption is that initially this would work on a commission only basis, but I am happy to check any reasonable expectations or requirements with the company. The ideal situation would be longer term involvement, and I see a lot of potential for the team if this takes off (I believe the software is good enough to allow for this).
This also has potential to become a sales management opportunity, or a sales team. If there is an obvious advantage, someone leading or being part of a sales team could also work.
Once the right person or people are found, we can discuss specifics, look at the software and it's potential and go from there.
