Dear Gincuille, I'm an experienced writer and manager who has prepared a number of successful business plans - and I'm presently writing one for a former colleague with a bursary from James Caan. I develop a business plan using a best practice model taught at Cranfield Business School with the following sections: What is it What is the problem the business will resolve Why is there an opportunity in the market Key business objectives and milestones Product/service differentiation Market conditions Competitors The world of the customer Revenue model(s) Marketing and pr Key people and headcoun Top line three year figures. If you have a slightly different model provided by your tutor I would be happy to discuss following that. I would complete all of the above excepting the top line three year figures in four days spread over a two week period. I like to initiate the project with a meeting on-line or preferably face to face. I would then would present you with a draft at the half way point with another meeting to discuss gaps to fill, strengths weaknesses etc. The art of a good business plan is the 'art of the possible' and not to allow perfection to be the enemy of the good. If you are interested in my proposal then I would first want to know what particular area of business you need the plan for, as this would have some bearing on how I approach the project. Yours sincerely Louis
