I require a logo to be designed for a company called 'Vast Blue'. The company is a business-to-business software application developer.
I don't want a 'web 2.0' style logo as it needs to look nice and clean on both screen and paper.
An example of the type of style I'm after for this logo can be found at: [login to view URL]
The logo needs to be able to work in both full color along with a single color version (to use on B/W printed documents).
Although there is no set color scheme, the company frequently uses Azure and/or sky blue as a standard color for many things. Photos of skies with clouds are also often used in general designs.
The logo can be either text only or text with a symbol/device of some kind (thats related in some way to the company name or industry).
Some more specific details on Vast Blue are: Software development for medium to large businesses with a focus on the creative media industry (ie. Film and Media) along with other general business clients. Fairly dynamic company, with the stability of many years of trading.
Please respond with lo-res 'mock-ups'/prototypes and I will select the most suitable logo and accept the bid (and funds will be placed in escrow as per normal). Then the source files will need be delivered to me - and the project will be set as complete.
**I will only consider bids with attached mock-ups/prototypes.**
**Upon acceptance of a bid, I require all source files to be complete vector based illustrator files. No bitmapped/rasterized portions of the logo will be acceptable.**
I will also need to be informed of any specific fonts use in the creation of the logo.
The logo should not be similar to any other known logo designs from other companies/web sites.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
