Hello, Firstly what an amazing project! I would love to see your bird houses. I have had the pleasure of developing brand/logo identities for my clients. If you have a look at my portfolio you'll see some of the logo work I have completed. Because of the product that you are developing maybe consider how the logo will be applied to the end product. Are you planning on having it printed on, stuck on or branded? Having a logo to represent your product on printed material or for online use I see as being one variant of the logo. When you develop a whole identity consider how and where you expect the logo to appear, will it have a vertical & horizontal stacking option, will it be in full color, gray-scale and inverted? I have been designing for over 18 years. My love for branding and creating an immediate and lovable connection to a brand is my exciting challenge. Having a selection of logo choices is great to pass around and decide over but maybe consider that 8-10 is too over whelming. I would suggest having about 6 options, that vary in style to choose from. What I usually encounter is a client taking elements from a few and combining them for the end result.
