I have a centos 6.9 install that I am trying to get the current version of postfix on it. I have postfix installed but not the current version. When I run yum update postfix it gets to 2.6 which is not the current version. My linux skills are limited so I need some assistance getting this updated. I can provide teamviewer access on the host system to access.

Latest version might not be possible, but I will upgrade your postfix to a newer version. If you want "latest" postfix, then easiest route would be to upgrade your CentOS. Still I will give it a try, and as I have said package would be updated.
