Asterisk phone system used by most users for dialling out

Simple Analogue POTS cards with dahdi

Approximately 20 SIP extensions using Zoiper free client

SIP TAPI used for click to dial from Windows

CDR records are very important as we use reporting on CDR to monitor staff call performance

Some staff cheat - they exaggerate their call time e.g.

- keeping call open when they it was answered by voicemail, ivr, etc not a human

- at the end of a call after the customer has hung up they keep the call open

- there could be other ways to cheat

Requirement is to report on cheating - where call duration in CDR is not a real call all the way through

How can this be achieved?

Perhaps switch on recording for all calls

Use a batch application to produce report of all calls where there was

a) complete silence, no one talking for more than x seconds

b) silence at our end, our staff not talking for more than y seconds

Or perhaps it could be done live and an email sent to specified admin email account when there is a suspicious call?

I know that I can use dahdi monitor live on a call and it displays a bar meter showin rx gain and tx gain - could this be used to check all 20+ extensions all the time and when an extension is in an outgoing call report a) or b) as above

When bidding please advise what approach you will use to solve this problem

b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project.
