I am a software developer with over 15 years of experience, but don't have time to complete this project. What I would like is a javascript game that is like Buggle Connect at casualcollective.

You can see the original game written in flash here [url removed, login to view]

Here is a youtube video of two people player. There is 10 rounds. Each round a player makes a first guess by clicking the mouse. This puts their marker down and once the other players have made their guess, the dots are connected based on who is closest. Then they make a second guess and their original mark and second mark connect the dots and the total number of dots that are connect for them are counted for them. The person with the highest number of dots (score) after 10 rounds wins.

The project requirements are as follows:

Front end:

The front end will be written in Javascript. You are welcome to use a html5 javascript library such as [url removed, login to view] or any other well supported open source javascript gaming library.

Players will be able to choose a handle, then be able to choose from open games. The player will then play 10 rounds of the game.

The game will function and look similar to the original. It would be nice to have some background music, and sound effects if possible.

The front end will just render the state of game that is represented on the backend server.

The backend:

The backend server should be written using a node.js backend or one written in c/c++ using the [url removed, login to view] library.

The backend node.js or c code will handle keeping track of individual games, the players playing those games, and all the game state, and the front end will just render this state.

I am hoping to have the files delivered as as zip file as well as a docker container with the working code.

Thanks, and good luck bidding!

Hi there. I'm Sean and I'm very interested in game development. In fact one of my first non-trivial projects was a game in C++ when I was about 13. If you visit my portfolio at "[login to view URL]" you will see on More
