CGI Voting JavaScript Form for HTML Webpage

Hello, I am using a .cgi JavaScript voting form which was primarily designed years back for IE browsers. My problem is I need the code updated/upgraded so it will support Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari browsers. I have attached a screenshot of the following 3 browsers: Internet Explorer (correct), Firefox, and Chrome. I do not have a screenshot for Safari. Notice the image replacement checkbox and radio button icons. I need Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari browsers to recognize the image replacement for both the radio button and checkbox. Normally, all the button are radio buttons which you can only click on one at a time. However, I have included a checkbox button to be fixed so I can use on future checkbox pages. The finished project would not include a checkbox on the Artist Poll, but I need the image replacement to work for the checkbox before switching it back to the radio button. I have attached a file showing how the image replacement should look. It works for Internet Explorer; however, the image replacement does not work for any other browser including Firefox and Chrome. The voting script works for all browsers but not the image replacement. The script and other files can be found in the source code of the following URL: [login to view URL] A couple of other things to note: (1) I don't like how in IE an extra dead popup window shows up when clicking the vote button. (2) I would like to be able to have a graphic for the button rather than an HTML button to keep the look consistent on all browsers. Please help. Thanks!
