Childrens story book illustration

I'm looking for an illustrator of a childs book themed story. The illustrations will be based on a story I'm writing involving a bear and a mouse. The illustrations and story will then be put into a hard back book (the page layout/design could be done by me, but I might be interested in working that into the price if its a quality service you can provide) The story and book is being is for an engagement proposal. Below is the beginning of my rough draft which might provide some ideas for illustration. ------------------------------------------------------- The story of the bear and the mouse Their once was a mouse who lived in a small house. She was a girl mouse who wore a little blouse. On the weekends she would walk to park. She would look at all the people and the dogs that would bark. One day in the park she saw something big, was it a someone wearing a wig? It was something more rare, it was actually a bear! He was big and furry but not in a hurry. As he walked he saw the small mouse. Her cute little nose and big chubby cheeks. The bear thought to himself I could look at her for weeks. The bear said hello and she couldn't no. As they talked they became friends. He thought she was funny and happy she liked honey. They decided to meet again, the only question was when. They spent time in the city and she looked pretty. Dinners and shows, how many? Who knows? The bear and the mouse were such a good pair. She even liked all the bear hair! One day the mouse said she had to go north. That meant the bear would have to go back and forth. For years and years they traveled each week, but sometimes they would have time for a break. Finally the bear and the mouse decided to live out West. They thought it was for the best.
