Overview--

1) Change our site’s existing code to support embedded media.

2) Currently it doesn’t support embedded media because an iframe snippet cannot be placed inside of an anchor tag. We need that changed.

3) Ensure that media works from the larger tile -- i.e., where it’s embedded. Media includes slideshow, MP3 (soundcloud), and video (YouTube & Vimeo)

Objective--

For visitors of our site who click on an image to be able to play/view embedded media on a larger, pop-out tile/window.

Deliverables--

1) [url removed, login to view] should be modified so that three tiles show up when the page is loaded. This can be a simple copy-paste of the existing code.

2) When the first tile is clicked, the larger tile should contain a youtube video that can be played. When the second tile is clicked, the larger tile should contain an embedded SoundCloud player that can be played. When the third tile is clicked, the larger tile should contain a slideshow of four (4) images that can be scrolled left and right when the user clicks either a ‘ < ’ or ‘ > ’ on either side of the images.

NOTE: Both the video and slideshow should be capable of being “expanded” when played.

What we’re providing--

1) Default images and embed links. That is, we’ll provide all necessary media.

2) All necessary front-end code. Most changes will be made in the [url removed, login to view] file.

3) The minimized jQuery file used to implement our slideshow -- as downloaded from [url removed, login to view] See same link for documentation.

Detailed Description--

1) If you load the provided code base and click on the single image on the page, you’ll note that it brings up a larger tile. The larger tile itself includes one image -- the same image as the one just clicked. The image on the larger tile will be replaced with one of three different types of interactive media: MP3, images for a slideshow, and video.

NOTE: We will provide embed links to test MP3s and video, and will also provide a set of default images for testing the slideshow.

2) Current Issue. The issue we currently have is the image for the larger tile is set in the ‘href’ portion of an anchor tag within the smaller tile. In order to embed media in the larger tile, we must use iframe code which cannot be placed inside of an anchor tag.

3) Solution. We need a solution that allows us to expand the smaller tile with usable media embedded in the larger tile. Meaning that after you click on the small tile, you’re able to play (interact with) the media embedded in the larger tile.

Requirements--

1) Must have own testing environment for loading provided files. NOTE: we will provide files upon request to candidates whom we're considering.

Requirement Two: Please include experience with Cycle2 plugin or -- if none -- what experience you have using other slideshow plugins.
