I want a timetable in Ruby on Rails/ PHP where users cand log in and choose their courses(log in system may be left out due to lack of time). It must have 2 pages: one where all the courses and events are listed (main timetable) and one which is customized by the user (he has to choose the courses on the main timetable); maybe one more page for the user's profile where he can change his password etc (may be left out as well). Some courses and events may overlap, in this case, the user has to choose. The courses will be parsed from a .html and the events added by an admin. There are 3 types of users with privileges: student, teacher and admin. Each entry in the timetable has 4 characteristics: title of the course/ event, starting/ ending time, place where the event is held at ,and the teacher holding the course/event. Our HTML TimeTable has our courses customized by our group number (eg: when a user connects to the site via an API from our uhiiversity, he needs to see in the main timetable/calendar, all the courses for his group , a student from the 134 group needs to see the 134 group's courses). We seek a good and customizable timetable that has all those characteristics/features. We can deliver more info on private. The code will need to be commented so we know what it does, and we need a HandsOn Tutorial, so we will know how to use it.
