I want to create a website where people can debate different topics. The idea is that users can start a new debate on a topic they choose. Other users can request to argue for the opposing side. Once the person that created the debate picks their opponent, the two people (and only those two people) have a specific amount of time to debate (comment) back and forth. Other users can view the debate as it takes place, and can vote for which user they think is winning. When the time is up the individual with the most votes win that debate. There would be a set limit on how many characters can be included in each response (similar to Twitter).
