Build a Website

Technical Our site is going to be the power tool of our business. People are going to visit it frequently to watch videos that we post. It is important that it is easy to navigate without errors, that is our priority. We are using wordpress and we need to be able to add and edit new content easily after you finish. This technical stuff takes priority over the aesthetic stuff, so please prioritize this with your budget and time. We already have a site started on wordpress. We woul like for you work off what we have. Booking page: We built a working version of this page that customers could successfully could make a payment via paypal and send confirmation emails. The issue is we sell both services and products and very few plugins can do both. We could try to streamline our products, but we would like to know if you can easily make this happen. this is the scenario for the booking page, representing a typical customer interaction: Hershey has wedding she comes to our site and go to services page she selects package then is taken to the booking page she selects her date she selects time. she selects event type name of event eg johnson-mitchell- wedding estimate guests location select options example, dvds, extra hours, additional camera best option to contact you, phone, text, email. enter contact information date of first meeting, if required add to cart/go to checkout add payment customer gets an email confirmation we get an email notification Events Page: We gotten this page mostly situated, what we really need it to do now is let the public add their own events , independent from our jobs, so that we can get increased traffic to our site. It would be good if we still had to approve the event first via email or something of that nature. Services Page: We need to turn this into a shopping cart Layout: We need all of the pages to melt together seamlessly, keeping the general site links in the same place. There seem to be several issues with this at the moment and they need to be [login to view URL] also need each page to have an attractive layout for out text, images, and other information. Mobile version Make sure the mobile version of the site is easy to navigate( we had issues with the menu font being to small), looks good, and has no glitches. Secondary technical needs: Social media icons on the front page (top somewhere would be nice) We have facebook , twitter, and youtube currently. Blog- I believe we already have this mostly set up but we want it to go aesthetically with the rest of the site. Aesthetic We are going for a classy, clean, and sophisticated look, like a modern Art Deco. We have decided to primarily stick to a black and white color scheme and use brightly color photos in contrast. A simple streamlined layout is what we are looking for. This layout here is along similar lines of what we want on our home page. We want to stick with the scrolling Slideshow on the front page and let people scroll down so we can describe some applications of our service. ( we are still in the process of picking out images for this) it might be good to have some more black accents. ( maybe divider graphics, etc) Font Style We want a classy simple font in art deco style. We are planning on resdesigning our logo soon to represent this. I have provided some font samples of fonts we like and think fit in. We want you to use your best judgement on which one goes best on the site. Keep the font for the general text fairly simple though, so it is easy to read.
