I need a motion graphics film designed in CS5 After Effects that visually explains the benefit of Cloud data management over Servers in a LAN. I will add my voice to the final film so I need all the graphics, PSD, code, and timeline docs used to produce the film.
The length of the film would be at least 1 minute long with 12 frames per second.
To understand the software we want to promote in this film then please watch the films under Hostel Office on YouTube.
Most preferably would be an Apple Mac iCloud (New iDisk) style data management solution versus LAN (Hard Drive) that is more specifically related to what I need to communicate as written below:
[login to view URL] hostel believes that hostel reservation management software hosted on their LAN server is more reliable than hostel reservation software hosted on their Personal Computer clients.
1A) The film needs to explain that our PC Client software stores all data on each PC Client so it continues to function if the internet connection drops out.
1B) Our central servers in Germany synchronise all data between the PC clients no matter where they are located in the world.
1C) Our backup and instant disaster recovery servers are located in Switzerland.
1D) A LAN most often will only have a tape backup of the data and not of all the software the data needs to be reproduced. Furthermore, a whole new set of LAN hardware and software needs to be purchased to host the software and data to reproduce the data in the event of a disaster.
1E) A LAN virus alone will bring down the network so that reception can not use the reservation software to see who will check in or to check out guests.
[login to view URL] hostel reception areas need to have internet connection to receive bookings from agents like Hostelworld and HostelBookers or from their LAN software provider. Without internet connection they will end up having double bookings or be turning away guests to avoid double bookings.
[login to view URL] German based servers are updated far more regularly than your LAN. We will work 24x7 to fix any network faults but our Swiss servers would already be concurrently delivering the remedy for you so you may never know there was a problem in the first place.
[login to view URL] hostel that used a LAN based software solution before they changed over to our software, wrote 'the backup system on a LAN based process needs to be done by trained staff and if there is a mistake or a problem, the audit cannot be done until they can get a hold of the software provider ... which normally takes at least few hours. So in the meantime, you cannot use the system as it is not up to date, res are on hold, you cannot check people in or out in the system so you are basically paralized until someone fixes that for you. So they do not count on the web but they count of people who are not always reachable.'
