I want to develop a website with following features:\r\n\r\n1) Online portal connecting car rental companies/private car poolers and users.\r\n2) Users will have to register first on our site. Users can book rides and post rides (just like any other carpooling website, but for long distances and with improved functionality).\r\n3) Car rental companies will have separate log in and functionality page where they will be able to post piggyrides (their free rides) and book rides. Essentially what will happen here is that when a car rental company posts a ride it will get reflected on the homepage of the main portal. This will also display the contact number of the car comp. A user who chooses to take this ride will then call the car comp to book this ride and once the car comp. books this ride it will disappear from the available rides on our homepage. Booking will happen over the phone and there is no online payment mechanism.\r\n4) For private car poolers, the functioning will be relatively easy and concise\r\n5) The platform will have to use google maps very comprehensively, making posting and searching rides option convenient, more reliable and quick.\r\n6) One other offering would be the best rate portal functionality. Here a user can request quotes for his travel needs from the car rental companies registered with us.
