Build a Website

January 2015 we are setting up a new delivery & removal service. We will be based in Sheffield and chesterfield and for our removal service we will also cover a 50 mile radius from base. for our delivery service we will cover nation wide to start. if this venture becomes successful we will also start a courier service. about us. me and my brother will be open for business at no later than 1st feb 2015 i am 42 and my brother is 43, we have worked at the same company for the past 15 years time for a change. what we need. Create a top quality website. we will need a site that has a few sections and will require a database and other features. something that is clean and professional and something that can stand alone with a great online presence. create unique functions which allow both removal sections and delivery sections to work smoothly and efficient adding different user groups. provide a intranet and admin back end, allowing full control over our online business. , setup new users, approve new drivers/couriers , pay drivers, add prices etc etc etc removal section. we will need this created so a client can either post his/her job and only we can see this job and the client. we will need the client to be able to post all requirements moving date, items to move, it they require our packing service were we provide boxes bubble wrap etc. or simply call us. this is just the basics for now that i can think off and will be changed along the way. delivery section ok this is were we will need clients to be able to post there delivery jobs were all of our drivers can view the job and choose to do this job if the price is right for them and they are close to the collection. the client will need to be able to offer a job on a price they set not us, but must be made aware of the average cost like most drivers may have a £15 for first 10 miles and £1 per mile after. again this is just a random figure and we may need to change this at any time, so an admin section will probably need to be built too were we can edit things. approve drivers etc. so the client can see an average of what the job may cost. so they can post accordingly with the job title destination, number of miles and there offer,and link the job up to google maps to allow drivers to see exactly where the jobs are. the job is then posted live and a email or text sent to drivers and they can then choose to grab said job. after the job is posted and a driver accepts the job, client will need to pay for the job, the payment will come to us and we pay the driver accordingly. once the payment is confirmed driver will receive all info to complete the job address telephone no etc. so you can understand this will be like a courier exchange but without the bidding. just 1 price set by the client. we will also need a section were owner/self employed drivers can sign up for our service. each driver who completes a job will be paid a % of said job, again we will need to be able to edit things like this. this is just the basics for now. there will be lots more we need doing if you are familiar with sites like few examples [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] also we do not have the money to start this now as we do end our current jobs on 19th jan.. then we will have the money to start the business.
