I have 18 years of grant writing experience for non-profit arts organizations and educational institutions. I have also submitted for individual grants relating to academic research. All of the grants applied for the non-profits and educational institutions were fully funded. The academic research was more challenging as the research had to align with the goals of the funding source. Due to the progressive nature of the research, there weren't any sources that were aware of such a need. Ongoing effort to find grant funding for epigenetics and its influence on learning is ongoing. Project Background and Description A Better Choice seeks a grant to remodel and repair a building, for its Adult Day Habilitation Program, as per the requirements set by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. The finished building will have a garden, vegetable stand, consignment shop, a theatre, and a barn to encourage the community to come to the individuals. 2.
