Dear Client, It is not possible to have 200 users for MS-Access Front-End and Back-End design. Furthermore, the MS-Access is not designed for this purpose. We can design and use but it will crash and corrupt regularly and terribly slow. According to your description also for statistical reporting, we must user database server. Hi there, I would actually caution against using Access for more than one users due to the fact that it is not server based, so you'd be fixed to single machine unless you move the db each time to new server. I can build you a very nice html/php/mysql system with analytics also done :) Thanks!

Hi If you need to have 200 users to work at the same time, trust me this may not going to work. I have tried access with several users and I got various problems. What worked best for this situation and i have worked that to one of my clients is to have Access for the FE and MS SQL SERVER for the backend (BE). I still can do Acess FE and Access BE using the split but I do not guarantee the performace of the result. If you need to work Access FE and SQL BE; please let me know. Regards Ahmed

I have developed data base using linked tables where the Backend consisting of only the tables is on the server. The front end, which is user specific (consisting of forms, queries and reports only) is placed on different users. Every user can have the forms and reports which they need. I need to know more about the data structure and reports required in order to modify my bid to more accurate one. Currently I have bid based on various uncertainties. If the database structure is know I can give a very cost effective solution.
