Hi We will make a linked connection between sql server and the Access. The tables from access will be created automatically to SQL and any changes you will make to the access will be transferred to the SQL automatically. We will make a SSIS package to make the updates from your excel. Finally we will make all the appropriate Functions and SPs perhaps summarized tables and in general whatever it is necessary to improve the performance of your final excel. The size of the finally table does not matter. I could make a more precise estimation if i knew the number of the tables and the sheets from the excel that will be imported and manipulated for the final table. Currently I am working at big financial organization in which I Am responsible for the MIS. I have designed and Developed the Organization’s Reporting Database which has been constructed with SQL Server 2008 R2. The reports are being produced automatically on Excel , CSV or SSRS. The DataBase which has been designed and developed by me consists of 4500 objects, tables ,sp , views , etc. and is about 4 TB.
