Automate input of data from Excel to Access forms

Hi I need to hire someone who has strong Autohotkey and Excel experience and specifically in copying Excel data and pasting it into another application. I have my own finance application that my clients input budgets and codes into. It is Access 2000 based and works off a run-time, so the user just sees the menus we have designed. Sometimes though we need to set up a fresh build with a bunch of pre-existing codes. To avoid the manual input I would like to automate this by reading an Excel file which has the source data. There will be four or five worksheets in a single workbook each with their own set of codes. The goal is to parse the Excel file line by line and simulate the key-presses the user would make to enter each record in the finance app. We then loop through all the existing records until complete. Then select the next worksheet, parse and copy into the appropriate area of the finance application. The Excel source data will be in good shape and not require much validation. The main requirement will be to ensure there are no missing fields before the script is run. The script should obviously end cleanly with a clear msgbox. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS The user should be able to browse to the Excel file (I would like only local drives to be visible if possible i.e avoid network locations) I would like the file to be read without opening it in Excel. A basic check for a header field in the Excel file should confirm the user has supplied an import file. If there is an error during the paste operation I would like a msgbox to display the offending record and a text file created that also records the same details. There is no use of the mouse. DESIRED OUTCOME We will have a script that will automate the entry of records (could be several hundred) from an Excel source into a series of Access forms. This profile will be present in the source Excel for the sake of consistency but will be ignored when pasting.
