Fresco's company overview is to offer a wide range of electric and autonomous cars with two yet to be disclosed characteristics. Fresco Motors was founded in 2016 by a group of dedicated business students and engineers in the middle of Norway. The company’s products are powerful electric cars and every new model is aimed to be more affordable to the masses. We're looking for an automotive engineer who’s really passionate about this field of work. The project you'll be working on is a totally new electric car from Norway. The project will start 6th – 16th of June. You've got to have prior experience and worked on this type of project before. We do not appreciate people wasting our limited and valuable time. You must show us your earlier work so that we know you can finish the job in a timely manner. Valid education for applying to this project is automotive engineering. Valid sub-education is both electrical and mechanical engineering. Requirements: - Prior experience and worked on this type of project before. - You must show us your earlier work so that we know you can finish the job. - Detail oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills. - 0-2 years automotive engineering experience. - Expertise in CAD modeling, CATIA v5 experience highly valued but not required. - Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. MS preferred. You and your group will be creating the electrical and mechanical aspect of the vehicle. (The digital side will be covered by an software developer.) Dear project owner, my name is Steve Moon and I have been a mechanical engineer for 20 years in US. I received BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering in 1995 focusing area was aerial vehicle structure and combustion engineering. I worked for a project funded from Ford Motors while I was in graduate school. Recently I consulted a company for designing high strength hydraulic strut system for racing vehicle. I also participated in UAV electric propulsion system, where I designed and simulated for thermal and kinematic system. I primarily use Solidworks for 3D design and have a plenty of experience with Solidwork simulation and COMSOL for thermal, structural, dynamic, and fluid analysis. Along with my mechanical engineering skill set, I have a business partner who is an electrical and firmware engineer. Most recently, he and I successfully designed and simulated an inertial sensor system for a defense contractor whose project was funded from NASA.
