Design a waterproof IPX8 flashlight switch
$30-250 AUD
Paid on delivery
Hi,
I have a completed flashlight design that currently has a switch that is rated at IPX4 and I need it to be redesigned to be IPX8 waterproof.
I have attached a cross section drawing of the current flashlight design including.
Many flashlights have IPX8 water protection, however they are usually designed with the switch at the rear tail. This flashlight cannot have the switch at the rear and must have the switch located as shown on the top of the body.
I have attached a cross section drawing with some dimensions for you to review.
Another challenge is that the flashlight body dimensions are to remain unchanged as much as possible. If it is absolutely necessary, we can make a few slight modifications, but i would prefer to keep it unchanged.
Another challenge is that the external silicone button is separate from the internal electronic clicky switch. If possible, I would like to keep it this way.
I'm sure you will have some more questions, so feel free to ask and i will answer as quickly as possible.
I look forward to discussing this project with you and coming up with a working solution.
Thanks,
Terrence
