Delphi application for measuring times / distances

I've seen your project shematics and I thik I can help. I'm rather good at Delphi programming, specially for interfacing with some hardware. It would be usefull to have more informations about the environment : General project goal and purpose (vehicle, machine...) The drawing makes me assume there is a distance constant to know to convert pulses count into meters or miles. how much is it ? should it be customizable ? about the inductive sensors, how are they connected to the computer ? (usb, serial, other) is there an SDK needed for the interface, or a protocol documentation ? Please, tell me more.

For this bid is assumed an connection of sensors to PC over standard LPT port.
