We are looking for someone to handle customer service duties for a small manufacturer of sporting goods. Specifically, you will: 1. Handle refund requests by looking up customer orders in our support system and creating a ticket. 2. Address user issues with the items, such as quality concerns or usability questions. 3. Respond to emails regarding the product and to communication about suggestions. Contractor requirements We are looking for a contractor who: 1. Is available Tuesday, through Friday for approximately 2-3 hours per day 2. Has worked in a customer service setting or a similar customer-facing job 3. Has a solid command of written English to reply to customers 4. Ability to follow directions. How to apply To apply, please respond with a cover letter that includes the following: 1. I would love to be a part of your team. My bid is £5GBP per hour and I can work 15 to 20 hours per week. I have 5 years experience as an email and chat customer support agent and was later on promoted as a Quality Analyst for the same department. I am confident that my experience in this field will contribute to the success of your company. I am also willing to be trained to get myself familiar with your processes and products. If I will be receiving a request for a refund due to faulty product, I would first check if the customer made a purchase and then create a ticket for the correspondence. I would then advise the customer to send us back the item and offer a replacement/ repair and still covered by the warranty (if for example this is the policy). If the item is faulty and the customer insists on a refund, if it is due, then I would make the request for it. Based on my experience in this field, we do not automatically approve refund requests if the problem can be resolved through replacement and repair and use the refund as a last option and when it is only due. I hope you can consider my application. I am hard working and can work effectively even without supervision. Hello, My name is Anastazija and I am fluent in English, Serbian, Croatian and Hungarian. I speak German as well. Currently I am learning French as I like learning new languages. I have experience with Zopim and ContactAtOnce (chat programs), UserVoice helpdesk, WordPress, creating Google Docs (forms, spreadsheets and documents). On that site I have helped people with their technical problems and guided people through the process of purchase and setups. I have also worked on a website that provides legal help online and with time I have been promoted to reception manager as I was accurate, coming on time and willing to show the procedures to the new colleagues. I am available from Tuesday to Friday anytime needed. My current occupation: Student. If a customer is complaining about the faulty product and wants a refund, I would propose to send a new product as soon as possible and that we are very sorry for his/her inconvenience. I was taking care of online chat, phone calls, urgent clients' issues. We had US healthcare product so I was taking care of whole healthcare product issues. 2. Your availability on Tuesday - Friday. I am available 12+ hours from 8am to 5pm but it depends on your requirement. I will be available any time. How you would respond to a customer that is requesting a refund due to a faulty product? I will ask customer regarding reason for refund and then explain them that faulty part is not going to affect whole product. We can repair faulty part or give them replacement with new product.
