Data Entry - moving copy from Word to Excel

Brief for entering info into XL So that we can upload the content of our books to our website quickly and easily we need the copy from the attached word document to be copied and pasted into the relevant cells in the attached XL document. Columns are named at the top for venue details (such as a Venue Name, its telephone number and address, etc.). Each venue must correspond to the correct activity (Sleep, Eat, Drink, etc.); the corresponding Activity ID numbers for each activity are found on the Key tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet (Sleep is 2, Eat is 3, Drink is 4, etc.). Working your way through the attached word document, we need you to copy and paste each review and their corresponding details into the correct cells. So for each review, you should be pasting the following into the XL document; the venue name; opening times (where relevant); description (the review copy); ratings for Style/Food, Atmosphere & Service/Location (only in Sleep & Eat sections); Price from & price to (only in Sleep & Eat sections); and URL. There may not be all information in each review for all of the above, but where it does appear it must be copied across. For Bogota, we also need you to format remove the brackets from the telephone numbers that appear in the Word document when pasting them into the XL document and replace them with the country code; so (+571) 657 8787 becomes +571 657 8787. If there are two numbers listed for a venue, paste the first number and leave the second one out. Also make sure formatting is the same when it comes to numbers; for in this case, after the +571 prefix there should be three numbers and then four. Any overly-long URLs, try to cut down to the minimum (no longer extensions). When entering rates, you don’t need to put in the $ sign. Be careful with ratings and note that the Style column in Sleep changes to Food when it comes to Eat. Leave out the intro sections and only paste in venues.
