Build a detailed map of Colorado

Hello. I can do final map in MapInfo. If you need example I can send. Do you mean State or canyon location? I need to know more about objects on map like: buildings, streets, cities/villages, labels etc. And about design of map: satelite, hybrid, phisical? Custom design?

Dear Sir very interesteing job. I know how to make very detailed map. Last time i made such detailed map several times. I will use QGIS to make detailed map. So, first i will digitize or extract line type objects such as water system, road network,etc from Google earth or Google map. After that, I will use QGIS to make very fine map. I can provide two type of map, that is, Raster map and Vector map. Will appreciate if you kindly instruction for mappinng such as map scale, range, some addition such as direction arrow, label etc. hope to discuss more thanks Joe
