Build a Website

This project is a visual extension to Crossfilter: [login to view URL] The aim is to show Crossfilter charts on top of a map, i.e., a LeafletJS map: http://leafletjs.com. They should have a fixed position on top of the map. In other words, they are independent from the map. They re only shown on top of the map. The ideal final product is shown in the attached figure. Other objectives to fulfil in this project are as follows: - By default, Crossfilter chart bars are aligned to bottom. We want them to be aligned to center. - We normally want 3 charts, one at left, one at right and one at the bottom of the map. We want the ones at left and right to be vertical instead of horizontal. - Obviously bar charts should not have any background color. - We want that the bar colors become customizable (i.e., parametrized in the code). - The user should be able to drag and drop a CSV file over the map. Then the Crossfilter charts and the map should visualize the CSV file. A sample CSV file is attached. It contains following fields: latitude, longitude, attribute1, attribute2, attribute3. First 2 fields are floats and will be used to show points on the map. Other fields are date/time and will be used to fill the Crossfilter charts. They can be departure hour, arrival hour and departure date as in the Crossfilter example.
