We are seeking talented .NET/C# engineers for paid work on our open source project, LEAN. LEAN is an open source algorithmic trading engine which allows anyone to design and trade algorithms locally on their PC. It is the technology which powers our website https://www.quantconnect.com. We're seeking 1-2 long term consultants who love finance and trading. You'll join a team of 4 engineers spread all over the world; Brazil, USA, Chile and Italy. This should be your passion - you can't be in it for the money :) We'll start you on 10 hours a week as a test while you're learning, and if you perform well we will hire you full time, give you shares in the company and steady pay increases. Work varies; but you'll be helping us build key infrastructure, add new asset classes, model financial processes, process terabytes of data in massive cloud clusters, design compilers, debuggers. We work on the most interest problems! LEAN is cross platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) and can process terabytes of financial market data. Our financial data library is 120PB (yup peta bytes). The open source community has 450 followers and 32 contributors from all over the world. The LEAN technology powers the QuantConnect website -- serving 20,000 engineers globally.
