C# serial port communication to a device
$30-250 CAD
Paid on delivery
This is a C# code that runs multiple devices. One of which works with a laser source called SLD (Super Luminescent Diode). This laser can be remotely turned On and Off using the remote control trough serial port (RS232). The attached is the manual for the Laser and Appendix A explains the Serial port coding for the Unit. Section 2.4 is what we are interested in “ Turning both SLDs On/Off”.
I have attached my C# code. When this code is started a GUI shows up that does multiple task which is not important here. What I want:
1- Upon the start of the code (when user opens the GUI) I want the serial port connection to turn the SLD ON
2- When the program is close I want the SLD off
3- I want this to be in a separate class that can be easily modified in future.
I will send the main code upon the agreement.
