I'm a disabled veteran, returning to college and have a need for a private tutor with skills in C programming and one for Physics.
C-Programming - I promise the code required will be only basic stuff - I am good at most of it - but sometimes I come across a bit I simply do not get to work right and instead of spending 2 hours or more messing with it only to find its missing a comma or something simple - I would prefer to have an experienced programmer to look it over briefly and make suggestions to help me make it work... This is for a college class I am taking so I want to make sure I understand the solutions and am able to actually learn... Usually I just buy a book and take some online classes to learn a language but I decided to take a college class - unfortunately our teacher is not very clear when presenting material in class and does not engage the class as well as I had hoped she would. That leaves me and the whole class looking to text books on our own to come up with solutions... Beyond that - we also are left without understanding that there are dozens of ways to solve a problem - some more efficient or more secure than others... I want to really learn this stuff - so I am looking for a private tutor I can send my code to from time to time to get feedback on... I will never ask you to do my work for me - just help me debug from time to time or offer alternative suggestions on how to make the code better or more efficient...
Physics - I need a calc-based physics tutor. I also decided to take physics 300 level - the problem is I have not used math or calc for 12 years and I am falling behind the 18 -24yr olds in class... I need some help with integrations, projectile motion, circular motion and more... I like the Khan academy courses - but I can not ask for feeback... I need someone to bounce questions off of to help me understand the material better.
Please let me know if you are able to help.
