Automated WHOIS and DNS querying tool

I want an application that reads a list of domains (e.g. [login to view URL]) from a text file, performs WHOIS and DNS queries for each domain, and creates a report (text) file that contains all the WHOIS and DNS information (e.g. Registrant, Domain Creation Date, DNS Servers, the DNS Time-to-Live (TTL), etc.) for each domain. The tool should run on Windows environment. You can use any pre-written libraries and/or tools. Please let me know: (1) which language you'll use; and (2) the approach you'll follow (so that I know you can successfully implement this tool).
