I need someone to show me how to connect to a database (idealy MS Access but SQL or MySQL is fine too) using a console based programming language. I am more or less familliar with Visual Studio so programming a console application in VS 2008 or 2010 would be best, but if another language such as C++ is your forté that's fine. I want to be able to search a database for a record, edit, delete, or add records. Again, I do not want the database created, I want assistance with connecting to a database and using a database with the program itself. Post a message if clarification is needed.
Because this is an informational project and the only work that is really necessary is simply showing me how to do it rather then doing it yourself, I am primarily entertaining lower bids.
