I am looking for (academic/economics) research assistance for a project on consumer protection policies in Australia, New Zealand and the European Union (the EU taken as a single jurisdiction).
For each country/jurisdiction (Australia, New Zealand, EU) I am looking for data, legal information and general background information. More specifically:
1) A detailed overview of major consumer information and consumer safety and protection legislation of EU, Australia and New Zealand (including the parties’ legal approaches to secure data privacy and safe e-commerce transactions, warranty, revocation periods). Outline of major commonalities and key differences. Sources fully referenced.
2) An overview and discussion of Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures, modes of current cooperation in some of the countries' economic cooperation and trade agreements with other countries. Coverage of food products and agricultural products. Brief overview of how the EU deals with these issues in the EU's free trade agreement with Canada (CETA), and brief overview about how these issues are addressed in the Transpacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) text signed by Australia and the EU. Sources fully referenced.
3) Description of the countries' approaches concerning regulatory cooperation technical barriers to trade (TBT) measures concerning, e.g., automobiles, chemicals, electronics, and pharmaceuticals/medical devices. Sources fully referenced.
I am looking for lists/summaries provided in texts and tables, charts, a complete list of references, and some text summarizing the results (approx. 6-12 pages in total).
