The project is to build course development and delivery for a university. On the developer to code the application (web base) according to the university requirements, what we looking to create an online application that will allow faculty from all around the world to create courses easily. All white papers were written by me also the database design and structure is done as well.
The application will be Database driven using Microsoft SQL.
On the developer to do is the following. Build the GUI of the application according to our vision, login process, open courses, edit, delete, tool bars, etc. Creation of the new course development and the Edit course development according to the university specifications. Build all global application properties, and pages properties that will assign by the course developer. Build additional files area and insert file area. Build pages development stages per page, include all settings and tools. Introduction Wizard ??" the Introduction wizard is a wizard that will build a FLASH movie for the course opening, the course developer will be able to specify text, properties, and images, and the wizard will create from the content a flash movie. Library Wizard Check Links Wizard. Download Wizard. Copy from Library Wizard. Building an interactive event calendar. Build an email sender area. Build chat room controlled by the professors. Research center. Build the course delivery system that includes 3 versions of delivery. All versions will be present in Flash.
For specific details about feel and look of the application, all small tools to develop a page, the work flow of the application and any other tools that we might add in the future will be discuss in later time. Please note: There is much more to this application, the above information is to give you an idea how big/small this applictaion is. the above information gives you about 80% of the application.
