Adaption of an Algorithm
€250-750 EUR

Dear programmers,
I lokking for a clever programmer that is able to adapt an existing algorithm in action script 3.0 (similar to Java).
The algorithm calculates an optimal wall of bricks (like a wall out of lego bricks).
You can test the current app on android or iOS if you search in the app store for "Zuber Beton-Stapelblock".
The algorithm generates a model of a wall based on a predefined form, hight and width of a wall.
Currently the algorithm us 3 types of stones. Task of this project is to extend that algorithm, so that he is able to use 4 types of bricks (bricks from the length 1, 2, 3 and 4).
Your algorithm should satisfy the following requirements:
1. the algorithm can handle the same inputs as the current algorithm and produce the same output (an multidimensional array with the model)
2. the algorithm create an optimal wall with the min number of stones
3. the grooves of a row are not at the same place where the grooves of a row below or above (no overlapping grooves).
4. the algorithm is optimized for performance. This mean, that the algorithm search for an optimal solution in an efficient way (e.g. with [login to view URL]–beta_pruning or similar strategies).
5. the code has to be provided as one or more action script 3.0 classes and has to fulfill the above requirements
See the screenshots attached.
Looking forward to hear from you!
